TECNO Win 3 Awards in DMA Bangladesh 2020

December 31, 2020 TECNO scored 3 awards in Digital marketing Awards (DMA) Bangladesh 2020, the DMA is one of the most reputed digital marketing industry awards initiated by Bangladesh Brand Forum. The award-winning projects were under 3 categories:

Best Content Marketing - Bronze Awards - TECNO Spark 6 Air OVC

Best Integrated Digital Campaign - Bronze Awards - TECNO Spark 5 Pro

Best User Generated Content - Bronze Awards - TECNO # GiveMe5  Likee&TikTok Challenge

This year, the fourth Digital Marketing Award honored 78 digital campaigns through a virtual award ceremony on Saturday, December 12, initiated by Bangladesh Brand Forum. The awards were given across 16 categories, in three ranks – Gold, Silver and Bronze. This year, more than 650 nominations were submitted for the award. Five jury panels shortlisted the digital works and the ultimate winners were selected by another six grand jury panels.

The idea and concept behind TECNO’s winning projects were well appreciated. With Spark 5 Pro’s integrated digital campaign, TECNO created a wave among the young, fun loving audience who mostly use their smartphone for the entertainment. To reach the right TG, TECNO collaborated with 5 top social media influencers and created a very catchy jingle, moreover, an OVC was created to highlighting the main features of Spark 5 Pro and promoted these through social medias. The contents were designed vertically to enhance the mobile view and ran on 4 major social media and entertainment platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Likee). In addition, TECNO also collaborated with top 5 Tiktok and Likee influencers to promote the #Giveme5Callenge in each platform to encouraging audience to submit their videos of dancing on the jingle. Through the challenge TECNO got over 83,000 submissions and more than 45 Million video views. The campaign was carried forward with unconventional unboxings with influencers and as well as striking static contents featuring the famous influencers. Not only these, acknowledging the live show popularity in BD TECNO have launched live show called sparky Friday. With guest starts joining in the show every weekend we were able to get more than 1.3 million engagement and 7000+ shares from the show. The most notable achievement from this live engagement was selling over 100 smartphones during the 4 hourly live sessions and getting over 500+ leads for the latest spark 5. Overall sales boosted up like never before by breaking the previous years sales record and increasing the brand awareness from 40%-60%.

Looking into the latest trends in social media, TECNO were able to identify the content type that performs the best and that is humorous lively content using influencer. So, TECNO crafted a content plan with a face that our youth loves; Singer Pritom Hasan and created a slice of life centric OVC that highlighting the phone features in the most hilarious and unconventional way. This approach gained lots of traction in social media channels and with impressive view result of 2.3 Million. The content was re communicated through Pritom’s official Facebook page to making his fans know about the latest smartphone Spark 6 Air through this OVC which makes the best use of content marketing.
